Le 11 octobre 2007 à 20h30, à la cité des sciences de Ploufragan, à côté de St-Brieuc, en Côtes d'Armor, et dans le cadre de l'opération "Griffons la science", l'ABRET vous invite à une soirée gratuite de prospective intitulée "vers où va l'internet".
Les trois "w" d'internet, présents dans nombre de nos actes quotidiens, nous invitent à nous informer, à communiquer mais également à consommer ou à jouer en réseau sur la toile. Les possibilités offertes par Internet se développent sans cesse et ses nouvelles applications nous amènent à nous interroger sur notre liberté d'utilisateur, nos valeurs propres et sur certaines « limites » éthiques à ne peut être pas dépasser.
Afin de répondre à ces questions, 3 sujets d'actualités seront abordés :
Internet demain ! : présentation et illustration des grandes tendances de l'internet de demain dans notre vie quotidienne, par Hugues AUBIN (chargé de mission NTIC à la Ville de RENNES)
Le phénomène second life - exemple de l'ENST Bretagne : Second Life est un univers virtuel 3D. Ses "résidents" construisent, échangent, s'expriment et commercent (la monnaie virtuelle est le Linden-dollars) , de manière libre et internationale. Par Marie-Catherine MOUCHOT (ENST Bretagne).
Objets intelligents : Réactions et débat à partir de publicités fictives réalisées par des étudiants de l'Ecole Normale Supérieure de Création industrielle de Paris, qui mettent en jeu des technologies futuristes “aux limites de la perte de contrôle”. Par Mathilde MAITRE (ENSCI).

La conférence est diffusée en direct et en web TV par Armor TV jeudi 11 octobre à 20h30 (un lien sera proposé en page d'accueil).
Les conférenciers seront également présents virtuellement sur Second Life où vous pourrez participer au débat en même temps que le public de la cité des métiers. Les conférences et les diaporamas seront présentés dans second life en simultané, si tout se passe bien.
